Shaun Lynch moved to Austin, Texas in 1998 upon graduating and began a career in flight instructing working for several schools over a three-year period. He was hired by Continental in September of 2001, but the events of 911 shut down the Airline Industry and forced him back into the training side of aviation.
Through this process, Shaun realized that his first love was teaching new pilots and decided to remain in aviation training to this day. Wanting to take the business side of aviation to the next level, he started his flight school “SOTOW Aviation” in 2019 and has been focused on enhancing the school and training experience ever since.

Shaun is the owner and founder of SOTOW Aviation and senior flight instructor. He completed his B.S. degree in Aviation Technology at The University of Central Missouri from 1993 to 1998 and has been teaching students since 2001.
